About Me

I'm just going to say it. I'm a word nerd. I love words. It fascinates me how chucking a string of random words together in a specific order can crown monarchs or turn cities to dust. Though, despite my experience in writing copy, I have thankfully never been asked to bring about a metropolitan downfall.

That being said, I have used my words to achieve other, less apocalyptic outcomes. Like increasing brand awareness and connecting with consumers through persuasive, inspiring, relatable, humourous and educational content. Across four years of copywriting and editing experience, working both in-house and as a freelancer, I have been putting my creative juices to creative uses, weaponising words and using valuable vocab to tell a tale.

Like D. H. Lawrence, I studied English with Creative Writing at the University of Nottingham and was educated in various genres of writing and editing, equipping me with a comprehensive grasp of literary techniques for entertaining different audiences. Unlike Lawrence, I have consistently produced engaging long-form and short-form content across digital and print, such as press releases, blogs, magazine articles, social media copy, email campaigns and product copy, for both B2C and B2B readership.

I have freelanced for brands like Truly Twenties and CumRocket Crypto, the former of which I have acted as editing and content consultant since 2021.

Creativity is important to me. It dominates every aspect of my life, not just my professional ventures. In my spare time, I write poetry and songs, play guitar and occasionally gig. I read voraciously, inextricably bound to a never-ending reading list that will keep me busy until the eventual heat death of the universe. So, I approach every brief with an untethered imagination, bringing a scrupulous grammatical knowledge and an adaptable tone of voice to the party (the party is your creative content needs and I am just tearing up the dancefloor).

However minute or gargantuan a copy brief, Day's on the case.

“Antonia is the second pair of eyes every creative writing project needs. Collaborating with her on our International Women's Day poem for Freesoul was not only seamless but an absolute joy.”

Elle Wilmot, Founder of Truly Twenties
